for a 15 play season in the Purnell Center, including
scheduling, budgeting and staffing. Teach production
management and oversee technical production classes.

Oversee all aspects of technical production, including budgeting, staffing, contracting, scheduling, rental, contracting, developing and administering staff, IATSE pink contract employees, local stagehands and job-in labor, for 6 productions annually at the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh, plus touring. Oversee all aspects of production, including: budgeting, scheduling, rental, contracting, developing and administering full-time staff of twelve, and job-in labor, for up to 72 productions annually in 7 performance spaces in four different buildings, for the departments of Theatre, Opera and Dance. Oversee implementation of new production unit made from production staffs in the three separate departments. | ADDITIONAL SKILLS | Understanding of
all aspects of Theatre production (lighting, sound,
carpentry, stage management and costumes), from both
practical and management experience. Experience teaching a
course in Production Management at U of Iowa, as well as
advising Stage Management students. Also helped to
develop production component of dance performance BFA
offered by the School of the Hartford Ballet and the
University of Hartford. Extensive experience working
with Union Crews, at home in Pittsburgh, Iowa and
Hartford, as well as on the road with the Pittsburgh
Ballet Theatre and the Hartford Ballet. Also experience
working with many other training levels of crews. Computer Literacy: Apple II, Macintosh, PowerMAC, IBM & Compatibles, and Novell Networks. Fluent in many programs for all, including: office programs; Lighting Design and CAD programs; audio, video editing and CD/DVD authoring programs; image creatin and editing programs; and others. Extensive use of and programming
in Microsoft Access. Have created end-user Access
programs for several outside clients. |
